THE.MARKET TONE WAS FULLY STEADY TO FIRM ONE LARGER SIZES AND STEADY ON LIGHTER WEIGHT EGGS. DEMAND WAS LIGHT TO GOOD WITH IMPROVED DEMAND FOR LOOSE EGGS IN RESORT AREAS. SUPPLIES WERE TIGHT TO ADEQUATE FOR LARGER EGGS AND ADEQUATE TO AMPLE FOR MEDIUMS AND SMALLS. THE PENNSYLVANIA INVENTORY INCREASED BY 8% OVER THE PREVI OUS WEEK, AND THE NEW ENG LAND INVENTORY WAS 12% GREA TER THAN THE PREVIOUS MONDAY.
