Dr. Sylvia J. Bedford graduated
from the Veterinary School in
Barcelona in 1991 and received
her MA in equine reproduction at
Colorado State University
(1991-1993). Dr. Bedford went on
to attend Tufts University
(1993-1996) as a resident in inter
nal medicine. Her special area of
interest is in llama and alpaca
medicine and reproduction.
She currently teaches courses in
llama and alpaca reproduction at
both the University of Pennsylva
nia and Tufts University. At pre
sent, Dr. Bedford is doing her resi
dency in reproduction at the Uni
versity of Pennsylvania School of
Veterinary Medicine.
The lecture will take place in
the Woemer Amphitheater of the
George D. Widener Hospital of
New Bolton Center. Parting is
free. New Bolton Center is located
at 382 West Street Road. Kennett
