Prices wen unchanged to higher on
large aizet in the North, Southeast, and
Midwest, while other prices were
unchanged. The market tone remained
steady to firm. Demand was moderate to
seasoiudly very good, mostly good, and
best into retail holiday specials. Supplies
were tight to adequate for the large sizes,
and generally adequate for mediums and
smalls. Supplies of heavy nest tun breaking
stock continued short to adequate, and
prices were unchanged to higher. Offering
of light type fowl were about adequate.

Tiucklot buying activity was mixed with
dealers assessing their needs and buying
selectively. Offerings were irregularly
available with bone-in breasts usually in
the strongest position. Retail and distribu
tive movement was mostly light with some
forward interest developing and adding a
tinge of firmness to the marketplace. The
market tone remained cautiously steady.
