them, this course will help you.
On consecutive Thursday eve
nings, you will learn the basics of
beef husbandry through a com
bination of lectures, panel discus
sions, farm visits, on-foot, on-rail
evaluation and hands-on learning
experiences. They will be held on
Thursday evenings, 7:30 - 9:30
p.m. on Match 13,20,27, April 3,
10,17, 22 arid 24. All classes ex
cept April 10, 22 and 24 will be
held at the Berks County Ag Cen
ter, 1238 County Welfare Road,
Leesport, PA. April 10th will be at
the beef farms listed, from 6:30
p.m. - 9 p.m.; April 22 at Leesport
Farmer’s Market; April 24 at Pe
ters Bros. Meats, Lenhartsville.
