Feeder flesh medium to moderately fleshy.
Weigh-ups fall to mainly avenge. Stocker
flesh highly varied from very thin to fleshy
new crop calves. Not much discounting on
new crops. Slaughter cows steady. Slaugh
ter bulls 1.00-ZOO higher. Packer demand
good for limited slaughter numbers. Many
cows heavy bred and returning to country,
also several thin cows headed to graze-out.
Total cf 500 cows and bulls sold with 50
percent to packers. Receipts this week
16,650; last week 8,683; last year 10,621.
Supply consisted of 72 percent yearlings
over 600 lbs; 25 percent calves under 600
lbs; 3 percent cows and bulls. Prices follow
