National
Grain Market
ST. JOSEPH, MO
FEBRUARY 5, 1997
Grain and soybean bids closed higher
after a day of slow trading. Fund buying on
the board was the major supportive factor
for all commodities. Good export sales on
this week's books and indications that the
U.S. may sell Pakistan 360,000 tonnes of
wheat, also added strength. China's purch
ase of U.S. soybean oil overnight and
improved soybean meal demand, boosted
bean bids. Wheat 3 to 10 cents higher.
Com 1 to 2 cents higher. Sorghum 3 to 5
cents higher. Soybeans 2 to 4 cents higher.
