From the moment that crops are cut until they are delivered to ani mals, biological processes take place that decrease their quantity and nutritional quality as feeds. Silage and Hay Preservation, NRAES-5, provides a wealth of practical information and scientif ic backgrounds on management forage preservation to reduce los ses and quality changes. Proper management results in more effi cient production and greater farm profits. Good food has long been a part of the Farm Show tradition and we now have 11 associations in the Food Court, serving up tons of delicious food all week long. Cooking demonstrations take place all week in the Food Pantry, using many of the wonderful foods produced or processed here in the Keystone State.
