Prices were higher for yolks «nd whole
egg, and whites were generally unchanged.
The market lone was fully steady to firm
with yolks and whole egg in the strongest
position. Demand was active, and general
ly good. Frozen egg floor stocks were tight
to instances adequate. Raw material sup
plies were also tight to adequate, and prices
were higher. Edible liquid and frozen eggs
(ingredients included) processed under
federal inspection the week ending
November 9, 1996 in the Eastern region
were 3% mote than both last week and the
same week hut year.
