previous rounds of funding have
been distributed.
Grants can be used by organiza
tions such as 4-H and FFA to fund
educational projects, programs,
seminars or field trips designed to
increase awareness of agricultural
and rural issues. Applications
must be postmarked by Dec. 3 to
be considered.
Recipients will be selected by
the 13-member Agriculture and
Rural Youth Grant Board, which
includes representatives from the
Agriculture Department, Educa
tion Department, Pennsylvania
Rural Electric Association, the
Pennsylvania State University’s
Cooperative Extension, 4-H, FFA,
Pennsylvania State Grange, and
the General Assembly.
