alliance that will create an infor
mation cooperative to provide
farm management information
services throughout the Northeast
and Mid-Atlantic regions of the
United States.
According to Nel Empet,
Northeast DHIA General Mana
ger, the new cooperative will
enhance the information and
laboratory services available to
farmers, and, at the same time,
result in financial and operational
efficiencies in the delivery of
these services.
“This new venture is a natural
fit between two organizations that
are dedicated to providing ser
vices that have a positive impact
(mi farm businesses. We are very
excited about the synergies that
will be created through this
alliance,” said Empet. “As we
enter the new century, farmers are
going to rely more and more on
quick and accurate information
regarding their farm operations.
