Tracy Kimbel of Jamison
showed the grand champion lamb
at the Bucks County 4-H Market
Lamb Roundup held recently at
Tim Miller of Penosburg had the reserve champion at the
Bucks County 4-H Lamb Roundup. With Tim Is Mary Lou
Schaffer of the First National Bank of Newtown, who paid
$385 for the lamb.

Bucks County Stages 4-H Lamb Roundup
the Middletown Grange Fair.
Her 128-pound purebred Suf
folk lamb was purchased at the
auction by Worthington Racing
Stables of Langhome for $450.
Tim Miller of Pennsburg had
the reserve champion. First Na
tional Bank of Newtown paid
$385 for Tim’s 140-pound Suffolk
lamb.
In all, 23 4-H members showed
and sold their project lambs. The
sale averaged S22S/head with the
champions and $2OB/head when
the champions weren’t included.
The judge was Greg Snyder of
Lancaster.
