Prices stabilized and were generally
unchanged to instances higher. The market
tone was steady to hilly steady. Demand
remained moderate with most current
negotiated sales'for immediate delivery.
Floor slocks were no more than adequate.
Raw material offerings became slightly
more available at unchanged prices, and
overall, shell egg supplies were about
adequate. Edible liquid and frozen eggs
(ingredients included) processed in the
Eastern region under federal inspection for
the week ending August 17,1996 were 1%
leu than last week, and 2% less than the
same week last year.

was seasonally moderate at most plants;
however, activity was projected to increase
entering the holiday lengthened weekend.
Offerings varied from balanced to hilly
adequate. Live suchedules were moderate
to heavy. Lett than trucklot asking prices
were unchanged at 59 to 73 cents. Trade
sentiment was mostly steady. All parts
were generally noted at adequate for the
current call Leg quarters were held with
confidence. Wings were fully adequate.
Breast cuts ranged adequate to ample.
