the West Goshen Community
Fair.
Twenty-seven lambs were
shown and sold, averaging $2.36 a
pouhd, well above the current
market price of $1 a pound. The

weight shown by Jessica Paddock
of Oxford for $3 a pound.

exhibiting the champion light
weight lamb that was purchased
grand champion market lamb. The 130-pound lamb was
purchased by New Holland Sales Stable for $3.50 a pound.

$2.35 a pound.
Jason donated the entire pur
chase price of this 75-pound lamb
to the 4-H Center Inc. Building
Fund. Ken Smoker was the vol
ume buyer of the evening.
Kevin Smoker of Parkesburg exhibited the grand cham
pion market lamb. The 125-pound lamb was purchased by
Thrifty Pallet Company, West Chester, for $5 a pound. Bill
Falrbairn, proprietor, and his children CaKlln and Ryan are
pictured.
