Pricei were unchanged to higher for
whites and sugared yolks, and the balance
of prices were unchanged. The market tone
was steady to firm with yolks in the
strangest position. Buyer inquiry was fair
to instances fairly good as manufacturing
of seasonal consumer items increased.
Floor stocks were generally adequate.
Shell egg offerings were usually adequate
to instances tight Edible liquid and frozen
eggs (ingredients included) processed in
the Eastern region were 11% less than last
week, and 7% more than the same week
last year.

Prices were unchanged to higher for
mediums in the Northeast and Midwest,
and the balance of prices were unchanged.
The market tone remained mostly ateady to
instances firm for mediums. Demand was
fair to good into retail channels, best where
featured. Loose egg movement remained
good into food service and vacation areas.
Supplies of jumbos and mediums were
tight to closely balanced, and the large
sizes were generally adequate or available.
Breaking stock prices were unchanged to
higher, and offerings were no mote than
adequate and held with oorftdence; break
ers expressed concern regarding the rela
tionship between increased shell costs and
finished product prices. L'vt hen offerings
remained sufficient.

sell Retail and distributive movement was
