KIMBERTON (Chester Co.)
From July 22 through 27, Kimber
ton Community Fair attracted
thousands of people. Exhibitors
came to show off the results of
months of pampering their cows,
sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits and
other animals.
Ribbons, trophies, and the
judge’s praise brought estatic joy
to the champion exhibitors and
some disappointment to those who
didn’t collect visible evidence for
their efforts.
Parents brought their children
for the opportunity to admire a cow
up close, to pet a goat, and to hear
the baa of a sheep.
Vendors hawking everything

Kimberton Community Fair Glimpses
from the perennial favorite greasy
French fries to healthful cabbage
rolls wooed the fair goers to spend
lots of cash. According to the
crowds lined up at the Chester
County Dairy Promotion and from
those wandering around the fair
grounds licking ice cream cones
and slurping milkshakes, it was
evident that dairy fanners’ pro
ducts haven’t lost its appeal to
those of all ages.
A lot of behind the scenes work
is required for a fair to run smooth
ly. Volunteers generously donated
time and talent at Kimberton Com
munity Fair. Volunteers, exhibi
tors, and visitors all played a part in
the success of Kimberton Com
munity Fair. Here are some glimp
ses from the fair.
