Midwest weather. However, substantial
overnight tale* of com, limited decline*.
Wheat 9 to 16 cant* lower. Gem 1 to 4
cent* lower. Sorghum 6 to 13 cent* lower.
Soybean* 9 to 14 cents lower. Wheat loit
addition*! ground, today, a* harvest prog
ress showing good yields and crop condi
tions. Good overnight export sales limited
losses, however, expectations for demand
to drop off over the next severs! weeks is a
concern to traders. Com bids slipped lower
as cooler temperature* and beneficial taint
drove prices downward. Early planted
com, during the dry spell before the tains
started in May. larger than usual seeding*
in April this year, is already made and big.
Late planted com, especially in the Eastern
Com Belt needs one more tain and a cool
spell for pollination. Very good export
demand overnight, offered tome support to
com bids. Early soybeans ate also pretty
well assured of a bumper crop. Late
planted beans, here again in the Eastern
Com Belt, and larger than usual bean/
wheat acreages need to worry about
August draught and an early frost. Export
