may need assistance in the future.
At the six-month point of
employment, an evaluation is con
ducted by the region manager. The
region manager conducts this eva
luation with a visit to a farm dur
ing the testing operation. It is
determined then if the technician
is capable of continuing with lim
ited supervision.
A yearly evaluation is conduced
to determine the needs of a techni
cian after that.
Part of the yearly evaluation is
having ideas from the dairymen
within that circuit This is done by
giving each dairyman the oppor
tunity to fill out a questionnaire on
his technician. This information as
well as input from the region man
ager can be helpful in determining
each technician’s particular needs.
