    Angela Werley Wears
Berks County Crown
LEESPORT (Berks Co.) As
the new dairy princess for Berks
County, Angela Werley plans to
set an example for her peers.
When asked and impromptu
question during the pageant held
recently, Angela said that she
drinks milk and eats dairy products
in front of her friends to encourage
them to do the same.
In promotional duties fra the
county, Angela will be assisted by
Alternate Tammy Epting and Li’
Miss Kelly Rohirbach.
Angela is the 18-year-old
daughter of Phillip and Donna
Werley of Tilden Township Berks
County. She helps her family on
their Phil-Don Farm where they
milk 65 Holstein dairy cows.
Angela owns 20 head of dairy
cows. Despite her involvement in
dairy production, Angela is no
newcomer to dairy promotion
because she has served as a dairy
ambassador for the past five years.
In addition to helping on the
farm, Angela works part time at
Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation
Center as a dietary aide and is
attending Penn State Berks Cam
pus studying dairy and animal
science.
In the upcoming year, Angie
will find time to remain active in
the Northern Berks 4-H Dairy
Club, Virginville Grange, and the
Berks County Junior Holstein
Club.
The alternate dairy princess is
the 18-year-old daughter of Dave
and Sandy Epting. Tammy is a gra
duate of Hamburg High School
and plans to attend Reading Area
Community College. She works
on Reu-Hel Farms Inc. of Mohrs
villc and owns six Holsteins. Tam
my is active in Northern Berks 4-H
Dairy Club, the Berks County
Junior Holstein Club, and was a
Berks County dairy ambassador.
Lil’ Miss Kelly is the daughter
of Allen and Beth Rhorbach of
health k/ck
Shoemakersville. They have Lacy
Acres Farm where they milk 64
Holsteins and farm 200 acres. Kel
ly, Angela, and Tammy will travel
all over Berks County this coming
year to promote the dairy industry.
Outgoing Dairy Princess Jennif
er Davis is the 20-year-old daught
er of Ray and Frances Davis of
Leesport In her farewell speech,
Jennifer included a slide show to
help show everyone what she did
during the year as dairy princess.
Jennifer thanked the ambassadors,
alternates Sherry Hoffman of
Oley, Carrie Hetrick of Boyer
town, and Li’l Miss Maggie
Heller.

Martha Gregory, and Mike Fires
tien both of Lebanon County.
