Prices were mixed, generally
unchanged, and usually trading occurred in
narrower price ranges. The market tone
was mostly steady.
Demand continued to center around cur
rent needs, and trading volume was mod
erate. Floor stocks were adequate. Shell
egg supplies were also adequate from regu
lar sources, and prices were unchanged.
Edible liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients
included) processed under federal inspec
tion in die Eastern region for the week
ending June 8,1996 were 15% more than
last week, and 3% less than the same week
last year. Most plants ran full schedules.
