Dietel of northern Virginia have been elected to the board of directors of American Farmland Trust (AFT). Growald is a farm owner and daughter of late AFT board mem ber and co-founder Margaret Mc- Grath Rockefeller. McEvoy owns and operates a Marin County, Calif., olive oil producing ranch and is director emeritus and form er chairman of the San Francisco Chronicle publishing company. Dietel, a former AFT board mem ber, serves as chairman of the Na tional Center for Nonprofit Boards and president of the Pierson-Love lace Foundation. He has a farm in Flint Hill, Va. Cooperative Resources International (CRI), a global marketer of United States cattle semen has signed a cooperative marketing agreement with New Zealand’s largest dairy cooperative. Lives tock Improvement Cooperative (LIC), a sub sidary of the New Zealand Da#y Board. LIC sells about 2.14 mil lion unites of semen annu ally, about 1.4 million of which are sold as fresh semen. The have about 75 percent of the artificial insemination business in New Zealand, which has 2.8 million dairy cows in 14,500 herds.
