What does Jack’s adventures up the Bean Stalk have to do with dairy product promotion? Plenty, according to Mandy Stewart, Mifflin County’s new Dairy Princess! Drinking lots of milk, Mandy explained in her skit presentation during the dairy princess competi tion, gave Jack the strength to climb the bean stalk, run from the gaint and chop down the bean stalk. Unfortunately, Jack had sold his cow for the magic beans. Now, Mandy concluded, Jack wants his cow back because good strong muscles and bones from drinking milk are worth more than golden coins and a singing harp. Mandy’s skit presentation helped her win the title of Mifflin County Dairy Princess at the pageant recently at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Belleville.
