CHEESE SPREAD
2 pound box Velveeta cheese
Two 8-ounce packages cream
cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
sauce
I teaspoon minced onion
'/j teaspoon seasoned salt
1 package dried beef, chipped
fine
Put Velveeta cheese and cream
cheese in a bowl. Place over hot
water until cheese is soft Add
Worcestershire sauce, onion, and
salt Mix well with mixer. Stir in
chipped dried beef. Mix again.
Place in small bowls or cups and
sprinkle with parsley. Spread on
crackers or celery. This will serve
8-12 people. ‘

FROZEN PRALINE PIE
V* cup com syrup, light or dark
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
V* cup butter, melted
X A cup brown sugar, packed
V* cup milk
Mix well in mixer. Pour into
9-inch baked pie shell. Sprinkle
V* cup chopped pecans or walnuts
on top. Freeze 4 hours.' Use
whipped cream on top if desired.
We live on a dairy farm. I have
five brothers: Derlyn, Arlyn,
Kerek, Jatyn, and Kevyn. I have

1 '/> cups graham cracker crumbs
'A cup sugar
Vi cup melted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup whipped cream
2 packages (3K ounces) instant
pistachio pudding
2 I A cups milk
1 tablespoon confectioners’
sugar
Combine graham cracker
crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
Press into bottom of 9x13-inch
pan.
Beat 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
and cream cheese until smooth.
Beat whipped cream until stiff.
Fold 1 cup of whipped cream into
cream cheese mixture; spread over
crust. Mix pudding and milk until
thick; pour over cream cheese mix
ture. Cover and refrigerate until
Arm. Fold tablespoon sugar into
remaining whipped cream. Use to
top each serving. Serves 12.
My husband, David, and I have
a dairy farm. Along with our sons
David, 15 and Michael, 11, we
milk 40 registered Jerseys.
We are just beginning to plant
our corn because April and May
have been such rainy months. This
weekend was the first time in a
long while that we have gone four
days in a row without rain.
My family especially enjoys this
dessert in the summer. It can be
made with any type of pudding, so
it can be varied to suit everyone’s
taste.
We are planning on visiting
Lancaster Countyfor a few days in
July. We are really looking for
ward to it.

RASPBERRY
VANILLA CLOUD
VA cups graham cracker crumbs
VA cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
'A teaspoon salt
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
'A cup butter, melted
'A cup flour
1 package unflavored gelatin
VA cup milk
A teaspoon cream of tartar
A cup heavy cream
Combine graham crackers,
cup sugar, cinnamon, and but
ter. Press into serving dishes.
Combine 'A cup sugar, flour gela
tin, and salt Add milk. Put in
2-quart suacepan. Bring to a 1
minute boil, stirring constantly.
Chill.
Beat egg whites with cream of
tartar until stiff. Gradually beat in
'A cup sugar and vanilla and
whipped cream in to scald mixture.
Turn into line graham cracker disk.
Thicken raspberries with clear
fill put on top or any fruit: 2 cup
juice (any kind), 1 cup water,
'A cup clear jell, A cup sugar, boil
and cool.
I love this dessert. We take it to
picnics and everyone loves it.
1 live on a dairy farm. I help with
milking when my brother is busy. I
also have 25 layer chickens. We
get 12-15 brown eggs each day.
I love the farm. I also help with
the garden. I have seven sisters
and three brothers. Five sisters
and one brother are /named.
