USDA-MO Dept Ag Market News
DAILY NATIONAL CRAIN
SUMMARY
Grain and soybean bids declined, today.
Harvest pressure and profit taking on the
board weakened wheat bids. Com bids
were lower due to slow export interest and
profit taking. Passible increased in soy
bean acres and spillover weakness from
wheat and com pits drove soybean bids
lower. Wheat 2 to 6 cents lower. Com 8 to
16 cents lower. Sorghum 14 to 27 cents
lower. Soybeans 4 to 11 cents lower.

Wheat bide were moatly lower again today,
aa harveat preenire weighed on prices. The
winter wheat crop in Texas hat been
reported better than expected. However,
some fields in Colorado have been destroy
ed by lain and ecattered hail damage. Profit
taking on the board added more pressure to
wheat bids. Export demand has been good
this week, limiting declines. Com planting
is neatly finished and after recent heavy
tains, some fantic is have been forced to
switch to soybeans. Profit taking was noted
on the board, also lowering com bids.
Export sales have been scarce this week for
com but beans have enjoyed a couple good
orders.
