final Thoughts
We can manage without the “fit
ten” and “jockeys.” We can even
manage without breeders and feed
ers who lose sight of their valid
reasons for attending junior lives
tock shows. We cannot afford to
have livestock shows without
extension agents, vo-ag instruc
tors, 4-H club leaden, fair offi
cials, and parents.
Without junior exhibiton, there
is no valid reason to conduct a
junior livestock show, and we can
ill-afford to lose the stockmen who
participate in our junior livestock
programs.
