higher than a week ago. The maricet lone
was steady. Movement from production
areas was adequate to hilly adequate ful
filling most of this week's slaughter needs.

sizes. Seller offerings were tight to well
balanced. Live supplies were mostly mod
erate; weights were generally desirable.
Processing schedules were moderate to
heavy. Less than tnicfclot asking prices
were 1 cent higher at 59 to 71 cents. Trade
sentiment was fully steady to firm. In the
parts complex, wings remained fully
adequate to ample and in heaviest supply;
however, interest was increasing. Other
items were noted as closely balanced to
short at most plants.

and prices began to decrease mid-week.
Edible liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients
included) processed under federal inspec
tion in the Eastern region for the week
ending April 20,1996 were 2% more than
last week, and 1% more than the same
week last year.
