UNCHANGED TO HIGHER, PRICES TO

ENGLAND. AND THE BALANCE OF
PRICES WERE UNCHANGED. THE
MARKET TONE WAS STEADY TO
FIRM. DEMAND CONTINUED TO
COVER A WIDE RANGE, AND WAS
BEST WHERE FEATURED. SUPPLIES
WERE NO MORE THAN ADEQUATE,
AND HELD WITH CONFIDENCE.
BREAKING STOCK SUPPLIES WERE
GENERALLY ADEQUATE FROM REG
ULAR SOURCES. AND THE UNDER
TONE WAS FULLY STEADY.

Prices were unchanged to higher for
yolks, and unchanged on the balance. The
market tone was steady to fully steady on
all products. Buyer inquiry continued to
increase, particularly following recent
shell egg price increases. Moderate trading
consisted of both full and less-than
trucklot volumes. Boor stocks were no
more than adequate. Breaking stock costs
were higher. Edible 1 iquid and frozen eggs
(ingredients included) processed under
federal inspection in 'he Eastern region for
the week ending February 10, 1996 were
14% lest than last week, and 13% lets than
the tame week last year.

retail specials were in progress or planned.
Supplies were usual'/ adequate and confi

inventory was 15% h ss than last week, and
the New Jersey inventory was unchanged
from last Monday.

moderate to occasionally heavy. Weights
were mostly desirable to heavier than
desired. Processing schedules were mod
erate to heavy, instances light Less than

50 to 62 cents. Trade sentiment was barely
steady to weak. In the parts complex, all
items were fully sufficient for the light and
unaggressive buying interest
