ANDY ANDREWS Lancaster Fanning Staff MOUNT JOY (Lancaster Co.) —George Lewis,' long-time friend and supporter of 4-H in Lancaster County, was honored with an appreciation award for service to 4-H here at the recent 4-H Lives tock Banquet Lewis was honored with a spe cial appreciation award for many years of service to 4-H as sheep club buyer, contributor, and in other ways. Lewis, an ag lender at Farmers First Bank in Lititz for 23 years, has helped the Lancaster 4-H clubs “every year.” according to Chet Hughes, county livestock agent Lewis contributed to the 4-H Development Fund to help the award-winning Lancaster County 4-H livestock team. In addition, Lewis allowed 4-H livestock judg ing team members to practice on his five-acre farm outside Landisville.
