fered by cooperative extension of
Rutgers and Penn State universi
ties.
Topics include:
• Can you legally hire an em
ployee and pay cash “under the ta
ble” or provide board in exchange
for work?
• What is new in the world of
horse fencing, bam flooring ma
terials. and arena footing?
• Can written contracts and re
leases protect you in the event of a
liability law suit?
These and other issues will be
addressed at the bam manager's
shut course, which will be held
on March 13 and 14 from 9:30
a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn,
Bethlehem. The equine short
course has been developed as a co
operative effort by extension
agents from Penn State and Rut
gers universities.

owners and managers of area

share their ideas on how to “man
age for success.”
