Red Lion; Steve Ebersole, York; and Tom Flory, Red Lion. 4-H Tractor Safety Course Bucks County 4-H is offering a course cn mo tor safety to all county youth age 14 to 19 years of age. Whether the youth plans to work on their parents’ farm, a neighbor’s farm or work for a landscaper, this course will be a definite learning experience essential. The course will be held in the Doyles town area. The course involves attending evening classes and then passing a tractor driving test to finish the course. Upon successful completion of the course, students become certified to perform certain tasks on the farm that they would other wise be prohibited from doing under Child Labor and Pennsylvania laws. The law states that youth in the 14 to 16 age group must complete a tractor safety course before being allowed to drive a tractor. Classes are scheduled to begin on March 5. 1996. West Friendship 4-H On Jan. 20, the West Friendship 4-H Live stock Club held its annual Family Night awards banquet This year’s theme was “4-H open the gate to the world,” and the decorations committee out did themselves weaving the theme into the hall with gates and globes. The 1995 club president Stephen Allison was the master of ceremonies. The candlelight induction of officers was held. The 1996 officers include president, Rebecca Reinhardt; vice president, Lauren Paper; treasur er, Cortney Hill-Dukehart; and recording secre tary, Jamie Bullock.
