pound and heavier weights were adequate
for the mostly moderate demand. Live sup
plies ranged moderate to heavy; weights
were desirable to heavy. Processing sche
dules were generally heavy. Less than
tiucklot asking prices were unchanged at
SI to 62 cents Trade sentiment was fully
steady to firm. In the parts complex, bone
in breasts were generally held with confi
dence. Boneless skinless breasts were irre
gularly distributed, but adequate overall.
Leg items and wings were in generally
good balance.

lentiment was cautiously steady for small
volumes, and barely steady to weak for
tmcklot volumes. Demand was light to
moderate, and continued to focus on ten
th an-tmcldot volumes. Floor stocks were
adequate. Raw material costs decreased,
and offerings of shell eggs were adequate.
Edible liquid and fn-een eggs (ingredients
included) processed under federal inspec
tion in the Eastern region for the week
ending January 27, 1996 were 7% greater
than last week, and 7% less than the tame
week last year.
