Adams Holstein Club Sets Calendar GETTYSBURG (Adams Co.) —Closing in on a goal, the board of directors of the Adams County Holstein Club met Wed nesday afternoon, Jan. 24, at the Penn State Extension Office to review progress with the member ship drive and formalize a calen dar of meetings and events for the coming year. Kevin Holtzinger presided, while state director Marvin Brown, who is directing the mem bership drive, spoke about those efforts. County Agent Thomas E. Piper reported that Galen Kopp, dairy agent and Kirby Horst, president of the Holstein Club in Lebanon County are developing an itiner ary for hosting the Adams County Holstein Club to a tour being planned for April 9. Charged with responsibility for organizing the dairy princess cor onation, Josie Riser and Alan Zepp are to recruit prospective candidates and plan an appropriate event in early summer.
