Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
continued to (low. Seller offerings
increased and excess supplies were gener
ally difficult to place. Live supplies were
mostly moderate; weights were heavy to
desirable. Processing schedules were very
heavy. Less than tmcklot asking prices
were unchanged at 62 to 73 cents. Trade
sentiment wu steady to weak. In the parts
complex, most items continued to increase
in availability, paticularly boneless skin
less breasts and various leg cuts. Bone-in
breasts and wings were generally adequate,
but in a better balance.

adequate to fully adequate at most process
ing operations. Demand was generally
moderate at buyers anticipated availability
to be sufficient for needs. Undertone was
barely steady.

remained firm. Movement into retail chan
nels was good. Supplies were tight to
sometimes adequate, and extra offerings
traded at premium prices. The New York
stale inventory was 2% more than last
week, and the New Jersey inventoiy was
12% less than last Monday.
