ners of the Pennsylvania Apple
Marketing Program’s retail dis
play contest held during National
Apple Month in October.
The 14 winning displays were
selected from entries submitted by
nine retail chains and wholesalers
serving 1,400 supermarkets in
Pennsylvania, Maryland, New
York, Virginia, and West Virgini
a. A total of $2,600 in prizes were
presented to the produce managers

Conewago Trail Riders, Inc. has
announced the election of new
officers for 1996.

Wrightsville; Treasurer, Pepi
Clay. York; and Secretary,
Dolores Krick, Airville.

Pennsylvania Apple Marketing

did a fantastic job building
impressive displays this fall.
These displays definitely help sell
more apples, which benefits the
retailers and our growers.”
The Concwagc Trail Riders is a
horse trail riding club. Members
ride in the Strinestown area and
welcome new members to our
club. Anyone with an interest in
