Master Gardener Ranks Increase

The ranks of the Penn State
Master Gardener Volunteers,
available to assist interested indi
viduals and groups with informa
tion on home horticulture, has
been increased with the December
14 conclusion of the latest training
program.
Representing Adams County in
the tri-county (Ftanklin-Adams-
York) class of 40 were the follow
ing: Ann Radcliff, Biglerville;
G.G. Lilly, Hanover; Lisa T.

Franklin, Adams, and York area, which completed a 15-week course of Instruction on
December 14, the gardeners will fulfill a period of volunteer service, working as part
of the Penn State extension program outreach throughout the county.

Master Gardener candidates
have strong interest and knowl
edge in horticulture as evidenced

and diplomatically with others
either by telephone, personal con
tact, group contact, and/or in writ
