Doug said that belonging to the Pennsylvania Christmas Tree Growers Association has proved valuable as an information source for the growers. Lynn said she believes she is successful if she can convince those who have use artificial trees to change their mind. “I’ve talked to a lot of people that had artificial trees,” she said. “They’re tired of them. They tell me that (the artificial trees) start looking shabby after a couple of years. And I feel so overjoyed that they’re coming here to get a tree.
