DECEMBER 20, 1995
Profit taking on the Boards surprised no
one. Wheat 5 to 8 cents lower except Port
land 1 to 2 cents higher. Com steady to 1
cent lower. Sorghum steady to 1 cent low
er. Soybeans 8 to 10 cents lower. After a
long series of sharp price upturns profit
taking set in at the Boards. Longs taking a
little Christmas money and trade getting
ready to slow down for the holidays. No
big shattering newt to make anyone
change their minds to any great degree in
either direction. March wheat closed with
the tame quote at both Chicago and Kansas
City. New crop wheat has a little spread.
New crop hard wheat below current cash
bids and at the spread between com and
wheat continues to narrow livestock feed
ers ate beginning to look at new crop hard
wheat quotes.
