The market tone was steady for white eggs, and steady to firm for brown eggs. Demand was fair to very good, mostly moderate to good. Sup plies of brown eggs were short of full needs, and while egg supplies were gener ally adequate or available. Breaking slock supplies were adequate to instances fully adequate, and the undertone was barely steady to weak. Spent hen offerings were light to adequate for the fair demand, and the undertone was steady.
