State Program Approves Matching Funds For Fairs HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.) Agricul ture Secretary Charles C. Brosius announced that capital improvement projects at Pennsylva nia Fairs will get a boost from matching funds approved by the Fair Fund Committee Penn-sylvania Fair Board. “We’re pleased to provide matching funds for improvements to Pennsylvania’s fairs,” Brosius said. “Pennsylvania fairs provide food, enter tainment, and leamii g experiences for millions of residents and visitors every year.” The Fair Fund Committee recently approved funding for 32 matching projects at Pennsylva nia fairs. A total of $559,243 is available from the $3.7 million Fair Fund for this purpose. The Fair Program, which is administered by the Agriculture Department, appropriates these funds to improve buildings and grounds, acquire new land, or construct new facilities.
