Manheim Community Farm Show Wraps Up

Manheim Community Farm Show
wrapped up the fair season in Lan
caster County last weekend. Fair
weather (nought record crowds to
the 42nd annual event with more
than 4.000 exhibits and activities.
In opening ceremonies. Erin
Huber was crowned queen and
Lisa Winner selected as first
runnerup.

High School, Erin is the daughter
of J. Larry and Carol Huber of
Manheim.
Although Erin doesn’t live on a
farm, she does work on her grand-

parents’ farm where she also raises
FFA projects. She raises flowers,
tobacco and prepares baked goods
to enter in competition at the Man
heim Farm Show.
Erin is chapter president and the
county secretary for FFA.
Although her career goal is subject
to change, she leans toward pre
paring to teach agriculture or
business.
In addition to livestock competi
tion and exhibition of agricultural,
homemakers, arts and crafts, and
commercial products, activities
included a baby parade, a farmer’s
fun nigh, tractor pulls, and a gospel
concert.
