York County Selects Glen Rock As Outstanding 4 JOYCE BUPP York Co. Correspondent YORK (York Co.) For the fourth time in five years, the Glen Rock Community 4-H Club has been named York County’s Out standing club. That announcement was the highlight of the annual York Coun ty 4-H Achievement Night, held October 5 at the 4-H Center. As part of their recognition, the club was presented with a beautifully decorated sheet cake which mem bers opted to freeze as a special treat for their own upcoming annu al achievement awards program. Glen Rock club’s 32 members helped to compile an impressive scrapbook of club and community projects. They picked up litter along several rural roads of the area. For Valentine’s Day, they made personalized favors for the young guests at New Life for Children. During the Irving Shoe Store’s annual Shoe Drive for the Homeless, club members helped sort and size hundreds of pairs of donated shoes.
