AJCA Announces Contest Winners REYNOLDSBURG, Olio—A Bold Venture daughter captured the Erst place honors in this year’s American Jersey Cattle Associa tion Pot O’Gold Production Contest The 19 animals entering the contest of the 22 sold in the 1992 Pot O'Gold Sales were ranked by 305-day, 2x, m.e. protein production. The young Jersey breeders pur chased their animals in the Pot O’Gold Sale in Louisville, Ky., or the Western National Pot O’Gold Sale in Puyallup, Wash. The 12 winners in the 1995 con test shared a pot of $7,548. Awards will be presented during All American activities in Louis ville, on Nov. 4. West Coast win ners were presented their awards at the Western National Jersey events on Sept. 12 and 13 in Puyallup. AJCA junior members between the ages of seven and 19 enter the Pot O’Gold Production Contest by purchasing one of 22 animals con signed to either the Western National Pot O’Gold Sale in Puy allup, or the All American Pot O’Gold Sale in Louisville. Fund ing for the contest equals 17 per cent of the gross of the two sales.
