A2B>Lancnter Farming, Saturday, Octobar 7,1995 Ephrata Fair Sale Posts Results EPHRATA (Lancaster Co.) Sale results from the Ephrata Fair were announced recently. The grand champion steer, shown by Cory Simo, Lancaster, a calf purchased from Salunga Acres, was sold to Family Time Restaurant for $l,lOO. Cory is a member of the Grassland FFA at Garden Spot High School. Exhibitor of the grand champion hog, Tracy Bollinger, Manheim, sold the hog to Hatfield Packing for $2,85 a pound. 4 The reserve, shown by Ginny Nolt, Ephrata, was sold to Ephrata National Bank for $2 a pound. Grand champion of the market lambs went to Joleen Herbert, Terre Hill, of the Hans Herr FFA, and was sold to Corestates Bank for $2.90 a pound. Jenny Hoover, Lancaster County 4-H and Cloister FFA member, sold the reserve champion to Dr. Walter Trum bauer, Ephrata, for $2.50 a pound.
