The Chester County 4-H Dairy
Goat Roundup was held at the
Kimberton Fairgrounds recently.
A total of 14 project goats were
shown and six 4-H youth partici
pated
This year, the show was divided
into two breed classes, Alpines
and other breeds combined
Dan Torrison, Quakertown, a
Nubian and LaMancha breeder
and 4-H leader in Bucks County,
did a fine job not only in placing,
the animals, but also instructing
the 4-H’ers in how to improve
their showing and fitting tech
niques.
In the Alpine Class, Jessica
Bohmier, New London, captured
senior and grand champion with
her beautiful 3- to 5-year-old doe.
Honey Nut She also received the
reserve senior and reserve grand
title with a yearling doe in milk,

Caramel, a 4- to 12-month-old
kid, was the junior champion for
Zachary DuVall, Lincoln Univer-
