Co.) A big, white, aged cow
with a beautiful udder took
supreme champion honors at the
Lampeter Fair dairy show Thurs
day afternoon.
C. Curtmar Tab Snowy, shown
by Steve Shertzer, Millersville,
took the top honors over all breeds
after becoming the grand champ
ion at the strong Holstein show.
The reserve grand champion
Holstein was the homebred Weng
dalcs Fargo Beverly shown by
Greg Wenger, Quarryville. This
upstanding two-year-old also has a
line udder.
The junior champion of the
Holstein show was shown by
Karen Welk, Strasburg, a junior
calf. The first place summer year
ling was the reserve junior champ
ion for Stonchurst Farms, also of
Strasburg.
In the Ayrshire show, Pine Lane
Perfectionist Ginger, the two-year

Shertzer Has Supreme Champion At Lampeter

champion was a daughter of Ham-'
brick’s well-known show cow that
was reserve grand champion at this
show.
Matt Kemper, Peach Bottom,
had the junior champion Ayrshire,
and Hambrick also had the reserve
junior champion.
Milk and Honey Brass Sister, a
three-year-old was grand champ
ion of the Jersey show for James
Findley, Quarryville, and Mark
Waltmyer, Lancaster, had the
junior champion and reserve grand
champion with his summer
yearling.
