What Grandparents Know
First comes the Full Harvest Moon on September 8 and
then Grandparents Day on September 10 well
ripened maturity is all around us. Ecclesiastes advises
us about the harvest, warning that, “He that observeth
the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds
shall not reap.” Indeed, who takes the child by the hand
takes the mother by the heart, says the German proverb.
Grandparents may know that better than
most and can excel in getting thr
heads out of the clouds to take timi
to listen and plqy with the children.
Labor Day, after all, is a day off
May your harvest be bountiful.
“It is time to he old,
To take in sail. ”
