    LVNB Hosts Customer Appreciation Hog Roast
WOODCREST (Lancaster
Co.) The agricultural lending
group of Lebanon Valley National
Bank on Wednesday held its annu
al customer appreciation day for
customers in the Ephrata and New
Holland areas by serving as host
for a hog roast.
Held at the Woodcrest Retreat,
located near Ephrata, about 250
people associated with LVNB
attended the event that featured
large roast pork sandwiches, com
on the cob, potato salad, condi
ments and desert.
The event is one of three held in
the LVNB service area in Lebanon
and Lancaster counties. LVNB
also offers its agricultural custom
ers a spring educational seminar,
usually held in Prescott
Albert Murry, LVNB president
addressed the group and told them
that despite the current and
expected continued consolidation
within the banking industry, there

the Pennsylvania Bankers Associ
ation and he said he has had the
opportunity to talk to a number of
others within the banking industry
around the state.
He said the consensus is that
while mergers and consolidations
within the lending industry are
expected to continue, because it
enables the ability to adopt new
technology faster and offer cus
tomers more service options,
'There’s going to be room for
well-managed banks like LVNB.”
LVNB currently has $9O million
in outstanding agricultural loans
made primarily to about 1,000
family farmers, making it the third
largest agricultural lending institu
tion in the state. In relation to the
nation’s 10,000 banks, LVNB is
46th largest in terms of agricultural
lending.
