MILL HALL (Clinton Co.) The 23rd Annual Clinton County Fair concluded with the 4-H Live stock Sale on Saturday, Aug. 12. This year the Fair had one buy back packer bid for all livestock, H. J. Bierly Livestock of Mill Hall. Using a packer bid enables other buyers to only pay the difference if they have no personal need for the animal. Weights ranged from 84-140 pounds and sold from $320 to $lOO, averaging $135.48. The grand champion exhibited by Michelle Mincer of Mill Hall sold for $320 and was purchased by H. J. Bierly Live stock of Mill Hall. The reserve grand champion was also exhi bited by Michelle Mincer, selling Route 241, Lebanon, PA Ttas for $175 and was purchased by Powers Trucking of Lock Haven. Seventeen exhibitors showed the 30 market goats, weighing 50-87 pounds. They sold from $375 to $BO, averaging $121.33. The grand champion goat was exhibited by Angie Beck of Mill Hall, selling for $375 and pur chased by Albright’s Feed Mill of Mill Hall. The reserve grand champion was exhibited by David Snook II of Loganton selling for $l6O and purchased by Miller Brothers Auto Sales of Mill Hall. Twenty-eight exhibitors showed the 55 hogs sold. Weights ranged from 190 to 275 pounds and prices ranged from $11,125 down to $l6O, averaging $259.27. The grand champion hog was exhi bited by Kara Schrack of Loganton and sold for $ 1,125 and purchased by Dotterer Equipment of Mill Hall.
