PROJECT ASSISTANT: Penn State's College
of Agricultural Sciences, Department of
Agronomy is seeking an individual to be a
part-time project assistant, 10 to 15 hours per
week, to assist a water quality project in cen
tral Lancaster County. The USDA-sponsored
project is addressing nutrient, barnyard, and
pesticide management water quality issues.
The successful candidate will assist in field
work to collect samples and data, visit farmers
and ag businesses, and contribute to educa
tional materials for the project. Practical
experience in agriculture and an interest in
environmental issues is preferred. Penn State
