Pa. DHIA started a circuit of
members in southwestern New
York over IS months ago. A ma
jor goal of Pa. DHIA was to put a
person out in that circuit who
would be motivational, caring,
and above all, be willing to go the
extra mile for the dairymen.
These qualities and more have
been found in Larry Brol of Little
Valley. New York. Larry comes to
Pa. DHIA with a wealth of experi
ence and knowledge in the dairy
industry.
Being raised on a dairy farm
and contimling his education in
agriculture has allowed him to at
tain a tremendous amount of
knowledge.
Larry attended Little Valley
High School and served as presi
dent of the local FFA chapter. He
also graduated with honors. Then
he proceeded to Cornell Univer
sity to further his education.
After attending college, he re
turned home to farm with his fa
ther on the family farm for 10
years. In that time frame he
bought his own farm. Having his
own farm, he was able to raise

go to work at the local feed mill
while milking his own cows.
As time progressed he decided
to become a technician for North

herds. In the mean time, Larry
moved on to other interests.
Once again, wanting to get in
volved with the dairy industry,
Larry became a Pa. DHIA techni

in New York has allowed Pa.
DHIA to expand beyond the geo
graphical area of Pennsylvania.
Pa. DHIA currently serves mem
bers in Pennsylvania, New York,
New Jersey, Maryland and Mis

Some hobbies that Larry said he
enjoys are collecting baseball
cards, bowling, country, music,
