Tour,” on Sept. 22-23 at the West
ern Maryland Research and Edu
cation Center (WMREC), 18330
Keedysville Rd., Keedysville.
There are excellent opportuni
ties to add to the bottom line by
utilizing portd or water sources to
produce freshwater fish.
Demand for locally produced
products including seafood has in
creased greatly in recent years.
The Trout Production School and
Tour program will teach the latest
production practices and tour se
veral nearby fish production fa
cilities. Those interested in start
ing aquaculture operations or
catching up on the latest news in
freshwater production are encour
aged to attend.

The Friday workshop will start

9 a.m. and return to WMREC at
approximately 3:30 p.m.
